Privacy Policy

jongrogan.co (the “Site”) is run by Jon Grogan through Animus Digital LLC (“I,” “me,” or “we”), Tulsa, Oklahoma. This policy explains what information the Site collects, how it is used and shared, the tools behind it, and the choices you have. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information collected

Information you give me. When you join the email list, submit the contact form, or email me, I collect what you choose to share: your email address, and on the contact form your name, company, and message.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, my hosting provider automatically logs basic technical data such as IP address, browser and device type, referring pages, and the dates and times of visits.

2. Tools the Site runs on

• Netlify hosts the Site and processes form submissions. See Netlify's Privacy Policy.
• Kit stores the email list and sends the newsletter. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. See Kit's Privacy Policy.
• Resend delivers the notification I receive when you submit the contact form. See Resend's Privacy Policy.
• Medium hosts some of the writing linked from the Site. Reading there is governed by Medium's Privacy Policy.

You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings. The Site does not run advertising pixels.

3. How your information is used

• To send you the newsletter you signed up for;
• To respond to your inquiry and, if you ask, talk about working together;
• To operate, secure, and improve the Site;
• To comply with legal obligations.

If you submit the contact form, you are also added to the email list and marked as a prospective client so I can follow up. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.

4. How information is shared

I do not sell your personal information. It is shared only with the service providers listed above, who process it on my behalf under their own terms, and when required by law, to protect my rights, or in connection with a business transfer.

5. Data retention

I keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described here, to comply with legal and business obligations, and to resolve disputes, after which it is deleted or anonymized. Unsubscribing removes you from the newsletter; email me to have your information deleted entirely.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, email jon@animusdigital.co. You will not be treated differently for doing so.

7. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Where required by law, recognized opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control are honored.

8. Security

Reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

9. Children

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has provided information, contact me and it will be deleted.

10. Third-party links

The Site links to websites I do not control, including the companies I work with. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

11. International visitors

I am based in the United States, and your information may be processed here and in other countries with different data protection laws than your own.

12. Changes

This policy may be updated from time to time. The “Last updated” date above will change when it is.
